Corrine Pelletier
Shining Star Scholarship
Since the summer of 2017 StoryBook has partnered with the Pelletier family to award a student enrolled in our Student Summer Intensive Program the opportunity to take the program again the following summer. This scholarship is named after Corrine Pelletier, a passionate young woman whose light went out far too soon.
In June 2016, while she was exploring the world and living her dream, Corrine's life was tragically cut short. Those who knew her knew of her passion for drama and her zest for living life to its fullest. Her family made the decision that year to encourage donations in her name and foster the growth of young people, like Corrine.
Each year a new student is welcomed into the lasting legacy Corrine's family has created for her that will ensure that Corrine's passion for performing lives on. The student selected from SSIP exemplifies the heart and soul of the program, someone who shows tenacity and passion for theatre arts.
Donations are welcome to support this wonderful program and establish the fund for years to come.
